Shri Govindram Seksaria Institute Of Technology And Science has been the almamater to some of the best brains not only in the country but abroad also. SGSITS has pioneered in producing technical genius. SGSITS has become a brand name & with an idea to extend its goodwill, it established its management wing GSIMR- Govindram Seksaria Institute Of Management And Research (Earlier known as IITM) in 1996.

The institute had made a beginning by introducing two-year full time postgraduate degree in business administration (MBA) GSIMR is the first ISO certified institute in the whole of M.P.

Since its establishment the institute has been growing by leaps and bounds. Among one of the recent developments is the introduction of certified course in IB for the management students within and outside the institute and for the corporate professionals as well.

The institute is a self-finance institute and does not receive any grant from any authority. The institute has a distinction of having been accorded permanent affiliation by Devi Ahilya University and accreditation by AICTE. As such; it is a fully recognized institution with DAVV awarding MBA degree offered by the institute. Further it has wide support from industrial and business units for implanting training and placement.

Objective

GSIMR aims at nurturing the students in an atmosphere that is creative, harmonizing, yet challenging, by inculcating ideas and ideals through the course structure. The carefully chosen faculty and the methods adopted to suit the material such as case discussions, group exercises, audio visual aids, computer simulations, web pages and team projects will facilitate in attaining the objectives. Guest lectures of eminent industry persons are arranged from time to time, which helps students in gaining practical exposures.
